Stabbing Pains

Sorry if TMI, but has anyone else experienced "stabbing pains" down below at all? I'm 37+2 and have been getting quite a few BHs - some quite painful but have this new pain now too!!

I had a few this morning for the first time. I'd read in here that they will happen so I wasn't worried, and they passed after about 10 minutes.

I have been getting stabbing pains in the private area if you know what I mean. They only last for a second each time but are sore enough to make me yelp. I am dreading what labour is going to feel like. xxx

its the baby engaging... i didnt feel any shooting pains down tehre during labour.. not sure why we feel it int he run up.. think its just the pressure on teh cervix

I ve had them also, quite alot actually in the past few days, bit concerned if lisa is right and it's the baby engaging- as isn't it too early for the baby to be engaging?

i've been getting them for a week or so but the baby isnt engaged i just think its where she is laying...
