Sharp pain in ovary area

Right so I'm TTC and I'm on DPO 3 i DTD on ovulation day before and after, anyway I was home today and i was stopped in my tracks by a very sharp shooting pain in my left ovary area, lasting no long than 2 seconds and it did it 3 times with like 20 seconds in between each pain.. now I'm cramping. Has anyone else had this? it's my first month TTC so new to everything TIA

For me this means I’m ovulating. If I feel the pains I generally get AF 13-14 days afterwards.

I think that sounds like you are ovulating too xx

I agree. You may not be 3dpo as this definitely sounds like ov pains.

hmmm I did have a positive ovulation test though and I had stretchy cm the day I got that positive now it's thick and sticky again, maybe a cyst I do suffer with them x

Once you get a positive ovulation test you can actually ovulate up to 48 hours later I think

I got my positive on 20th x

I feel a little bit down now and super confused because I haven't had stretchy cm for like 2 days now it's creamy I think I've missed it now because me and DP can't DTD now

I get this through my whole cycle but it’s because I have pcos. So it doesn’t mean you are out x

Thanks hun I get ovarian cysts but it was more painful than that so that's why I turned to here.. it actually nearly left me in tears.
I'm just going to wait it out now and see if AF comes now x
