We just found an old gym ball lying around at his mums house - im hoping it has the same effect!

Hey Cherelle, my mw told me that a gym ball wouldn't be as good because the birthing balls are certain measurements, depending on how tall you are. Don't know if it would make much difference but I thought I'd share!

thanks hun, i was going to ask the midwife today. My OH got our gym one blown up today so i will try it out tonight anyway but maybe look for a maternity one too x
