Sensitive nipples

How long do these sensitive nipples last for? Do they toughen up? Mine are so sensitive to air, water, touch etc x

Mine were a bit sensitive the first four weeks but now they are fine. My LO latches much better now which gas helped.

I was about to post the same question! I have to wear a bikini top to shower because the water is too painful to bear directly on my nipples.

Mine are still abit sensitive but now where near as bad at 6 weeks. I cup my boobs to start off in the shower and once I'm warmer they're all good. I can't wear nursing bras yet though as by the end if the day in uncomfortable so I'm using the stretchy crop top bras which are helping loads.

my lo is 16 months now and my first period returned in jan as i still bf, let me tell you your nipples hurt when you are due on your period like its the first few days after giving birth and you are sat watching you child saying please don't bite as at this age they have some right pegs lol xx
