Seeing the babies heart beat ...

We were told by the sonographer that once you see the heart beat the risk of misscarriage goes down significly, I am still terrified of misscarrisge though, what are your experiences after having an early scan?

I've never had an early scan but I have heard that the mc risk goes down once hb is seen xx

I had en early scan with my last baby at eight weeks , saw the HB and everything was just fine ,xxx

Same as tiny toes, had an early scan at 8 weeks, saw the heartbeat going like mad, and everything (so far, touch wood!) has been fine.
You will be fine - you havent got too long to wait now have you?

Have got just over 5 weeks till the 12 weeks now! It honestly can not come soon enough!

I waiting for my 12 week scan (which will be 13 weeks by then!) And I keep thinking hurry up! But I'm also scared its so wierd! Happy but anxious about it!!

I had an early scan at 7+4 and saw baby's heart beat. It was reassuring and I am really glad that we did it - although do bear in mind that they still say that they can not give any guarantees, just told us that Baby looked healthy for the stage that we were at. It is amazing now though to look back at those tiny pictures of a fuzzy bean now that I have a real little person inside me, just waiting to get bigger!

i had my first heartbeat show yesterday
it was the most amazing experience ever. it has made everything so much more real. i hate the fact ive got what feels like forever untill im safely out of first trimester cause ive had such a bumpy time and im only 6 weeks! with abdominal cramping and bleeding and ive been in and out of A&E it will be a welcome relief :L

I sawing at 9 weeks and everything is fine, less than 9 weeks till he is due now!
