About to start (tomorrow I hope) my scrapbook page for the nursery. Has anyone done one in the past? Any ideas? I've saved pieces of wallpaper border and pieces of materials from the inside of what are now linen lined baskets etc, just looking for hints/tips on layout etc. Would love to see any pics of any that you ladies or friends etc have done, or perhaps you have seen a nice idea online etc...gathering bits together, hope to make a start tomorrow while DH is at the football game.

No

I started found some curtains I fell inlove with then started from there.

Would love to see your finished scrapbook pic though

I'll post it when I've finished (must post nursery pics too) but it might be a day or two. Sometimes my pages come together in an hour or two, sometimes they take me a day or two!! Will post it when it's done though.

Cant wait to see! I never thought of doing a page of the nursery, such a nice idea! :)

im going to start doing one too, but for me being 16 weeks i dont know if its a bit too soon, i mean i have to do all my room and that before baby comes anywhere, cos like i have writing all over my walls ( dont ask)
and like i got told i have to have the room done 3 months before so its fume free.
do you think its too early?

Robyn I don't think decorating the nursery is too soon at all. Ours was painted in February so the fumes were LONG gone...my husband done most of the decorating and furniture construction etc I've since spent time just adding accessories, buying the right coloured cot sheets etc. I'm doing my scrapbook page now because I've finally got the things on the walls, the books on the shelves etc. I took pictures from it being an empty room to finishing so hope I can tell the story type thing.

i think we should start doing it now :)
but like wait untill i find out the sex of baby.before choosing colours. like accesories and stuff

Yeah we went for a neutral cream and mint green to start with. I've since accessorised with blue things so it does look like a little boy bedroom now. We used the Nostalgia range from Mamas & Papas which is adorable but I do think it needs a huge room to look right in otherwise the same patterns like that becomes too much. I liked that range as although the main colours were cream/mint it contained flecks of baby pink and baby blue so it could work either way easily.

my DH did our 3 months before my LO is due..With summer coming up you can have windows open much longer to let fumes go down.
