Is edinburgh zoo easy to get to by train?

depending on where you are its easy from like ayr etc you would ned to get a train to glasgow then to edinburgh then a bus to zoo (its not far but far enough with little ones)

I'm in Aberdeen. I went to Edinburgh zoo in October (I just really wanted to go - apparently my mum felt the urge to go to the zoo while pregnant with me too, weird ). I'm not sure about a meet there because it is so hilly. I found it very tiring in October and I wasn't carrying round as much weight as I will be by the time we meet. But that just might be me because I've been so tired while pregnant and now my pelvis hurts too I can't do the walking round lots thing. It's lots of fun at the zoo though so just ignore me if everyone wants to go I don't mean to be a party pooper.
