Hi :)

I'm Chelsea, I'm 16 (17 in December) and live with my boyfriend who is 17.

Everything's been going really good with us and our relationship is pretty solid.

For the last week or so I've not been feeling like myself, I'm normally energetic and going out all the time but recently I've been really tired and not wanting to get out of bed in the mornings.

I thought it was just with winter coming or something but yesterday I was sick all morning and I was today as well so I bought a few pregnancy tests just to make sure, but I was 99% sure I wasn't.

Oops, turns out I am.

I'm really scared and haven't told anybody.

My parents went nuts when I moved in with my boyfriend so what will they be like when I tell them I'm having a baby???

I think my bf will be ok about it but I can't even bring myself to tell him.

Please don't reply saying I'm stupid for getting pregnant so young because we didn't plan it and were using protection but it obviously didn't work one time.

The best thing you can do is rip the bandage off and tell them :hugs: honestly the longer you hide it the worse you will feel and you need support right now .

Thanks, I know it is the right thing to do and I'll probably look back on it and think "hey, it all turned out fine, what were you scared of?" but I am so afraid of what my parents will say when I tell them.

Constantly worrying about a bad thing is only marginally better than in happening, I agree, the quicker you get their reaction, the less worry and stress on you. Good luck!

I don't think it matters how old you are, I am 32 and was still terrified of telling my parents! Try not to guess how they might respond, they may just surprise you! X

I told my boyfriend tonight and he was completely ok about it and after he got over the shock he was actually quite excited about it :)

I still haven't told my parents though, but now my boyfriend knows we can do it together which will be better.
