Hi guys

seems like there is a few of us off for our scans!!!

Mine is tomorrow morning (9.30) I am worried whether everything is ok as I still have not felt a definite kick, and all the other stuff you worry about.

I won the coin toss to find out the flavour though so I am excited about that.

Hope all is ok in there!!! :(

Good luck with your scan tomorrow! I hope everything is perfect.

:D Alex xxx

Ooooo you must be in there now. Hope it's going well. xx

Hurry back and tell us the flavour, i'm going to say BOY too.

well I am a little disappointed, I told the sonographer that I wanted to find out the sex and she said 'We don't normally check the gender as a rule!' she then made hardly any effort to look, took the usual measurements etc and then said 'well I cant see between the babies legs so we will have to leave it at that!!!' I was so upset and even had a little cry.

I was so excited about finding out- like Christmas when your little!!!

The good news ( I know this should be the most important bit) baby is fine and everything is ok.

I'm relieved at that as I have not felt much movement but still cant help feeling disappointed with the whole experience really!!!
(sorry, I know I should be more positive and grateful!)

glad baby is healthy and just think of the lovely surprise u have to come

  sorry they didnt tell you the sex, glad everythings ok though

Glad everything is ok

U don't want to know what u are having - join team green! and have a surprise! ;)

im all for team green too! if my DP has his way, then we'll be finding out, i hope not though. Some hospitals do have policies regardning sexing scans, usually when they have a large proportion of false claims for parents, they get told by boards to refrain from telling expectant parents. If you wanted to know the sex, go to a different hospital thats what my sister did lol. She had 'pains' one day and so she and her husband went lol, they also told her the sex :)

Congratualtions on you happy healthy baby
Shame about not being able to find out the sex
Just see it as a wonderful xmas and birthdays suprise rolled into one.
lOL SARAH

well we didn't find out with Jack so I wanted to experience knowing this time round!

There was two sonographers and I was hoping to get the other one, she did my 12 week scan and was lovely, really took the time to show me and explain things. The one I had this time did my scans with jack and she was the same then, moody and not very informative!

firstly im glad everything is all well with the baby.
But like you i would also be a bit upset about not finding out the sex, maybe your OH slipped her £20 to not tell ya so he won.........lol

hi belly bump - what does it mean, when you say false claims from parents? Just tinterested in why some nhs scans wont tell you the sex. I wondered if it was because they worried that people might try and have a termination if it wasnt the sex they wanted or something! x
