Scan tomorrow afternoon

As per the title really. Can't believe it's here already!

I'm feeling sort of confident that bubs is ok, but I have so many niggly worries it's unreal! Will the sonographer be nice and reassuring? Will the midwife be nice (I'm booking in too...)? Will I have a full enough/not too full bladder? Will we get a decent pic? Could it be twins? Will we have to wait for ages? Will I feel more confident about it all once we're well and truly "in the system"? If I get put back will I have to go back for the NT scan?

I'm sure it's normal to feel like this and have so much uncertainty when everything is so new, I just can't help it!! I'm so excited about seeing our baby, but I'm kind of dreading it all too!

im only 5 weeks and I feel paranoid so I can only imagine how you feel! it's so exciting. hope all goes well for you. Im just hoping I get a pregnancy symptom soon! x

The worries your going through are totally normal, i was a wreck before my 12 week scan and i had 2 scan previous. Just think of that lil baby and how perfect it will be. I personally didnt drink much as i couldnt hold that much in at that point, if theres too much theyll get you to empty anyways. Good luck x

I was exactly the same last night before my scan this afternoon - you will be fine. You're lucky that you're having your scan at this stage as I was meant to be 13w 3 days today but because of baby being so big they put me forward 9 days making me 14w +5d meaning I couldn't have the Nuchal fold test - instead i had to have different bloods and they measure baby's head?! Oh well, can't do anything about it now.

Thanks girls. Feel a bit better this morning. As much as the last few weeks seem to have dragged at times, it's all happening so quickly all of a sudden! I think it's just that I know it will seem more real after today - feels like a real milestone

So everything was fine. More than fine

Saw baby and baby's heartbeat - it was amazing. Everyone we saw was lovely and really reassuring. Must have been there a couple of hours though getting everything done!

Oh, and I did get put back 3 days, but I don't mind. My baby's all healthy and well!
