Another 12 week scan tomorrow :)

Hey girls,

Got my 12 week scan tomorrow, so excited! A little nervous but mostly excited!
I have an appointment with thw consulant at 9.10am and scan straight after. No idea if I'm supposed to have a full bladder or not? Don't want to drink heaps before I go as not sure how long the consultant will be. Might just take a bottle of water in with me instead.


Can't wait to see baby will post pics tomorrow!

I was told to drink 2 pints an hour before otherwise they wouldn't be able to do it. Was dying to pee though!

All the best, it's a great experience - I was the same before mine, sooo excited but nervous as hell....as soon as she said I can hear a heartbeat all my anxiety disappeared. My letter never told me to have a full bladder but they do like you to have one as it helps get clearer pics. xx

Goodluck Helen, enjoy your morning. Cant wait to see your scan pics. Id take a bottle of water with you especially if you have to see the consultant first, i nearly poped when i went for my scans with my LO as i had to wait x x
