SCAN & MIDWIFE

Hi ya, hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend!

I have got my dating scan and first midwife appointment next week (both on the same day) very excited! lol

Can you let me know any information I need to know before the appointments ie what questions the midwife is likely to ask etc so I am prepared before I go.

I also am a bit worried about the scan as I have a bladder the size of a pee (even before pregnancy) how did you coupe with a full bladder waiting for you scans???

I had my scan and midwife appointment last week. They asked me loads of questions about family history mostly. Any history of heart problems, diabetes etc.

As for the bladder thing, I had to wait a while and was busting for the toilet by the time my scan was done. The sonogropher asked me if I wanted to go before the scan but I believe it can make the scan more difficult so I waited it out.

All the ladies going for scans came running out of the scan room to the loo the second their scans had finished
