scan in the morning!!!!!!

Hi there,
after worrying all week about no symptoms I am having a early scan in the morning (friday) I am not 100% on dates so could be five and a half weeks or six and a half weeks.
I just hope they can see SOMETHING at such an early stage??
Does any one know if they will? will there be a heartbeat?????

if your in the 5wk mark you may be ask to go back next week if your 6wks you may be able to see something just depends on how far you are but good luck

oh, its just so worrying, I wish they would give us pregnant ladies something to take home that detects the heart beat, just to give us peace of mind. I am now worried that if I go tomorrow and see nothing I'll be panicing all weekend!!!! I could have the scan on Monday morning, so should I wait????

I would and have waited a little while to ensure that there should be a heartbeat (all being well). I'd wait until Monday if I were you but completely up to you of course.

Dont fret if they cant detect a heartbeat at first. It maybe too early i had my first scan at around 4 and half - 5 weeks and there was a healthy sac but no heartbeat!!! But today clear as the nose on ya face at 6 weeks and 2 days it was pumping away like a little trooper!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!! And btw i havnt got many symptoms..sore boobs yes, IBS yes, gagging but not been sick oh and a foul temoer but otherwise you wudnt know i was preggers! xxx

I've got symptoms that I didn't even know were symptoms!! Not being able to sleep, achey/crampy legs, even flatulence!! But don't feel sick yet. My breasts have been quite sore yesterday and today. If you're not sure on your dates, prob best to wait few more days to make sure, at least then you'll be 6 weeks either way x x
