Saw GP today!

Hi,

Well i saw the doc today to tell her i was preggers! And she has put me down as 6wks and due on the 6th Jan. Which is highly unlikley. I am still going for the 13-16th and that makes me about 4+4 / 5+0.

I asked when they will try and find out how far gone i am. And she said at the nuchal scan. I said whens that sahe said you have the nuchal one then the rountine 20 week one. And i know from before the nuchal HAS to be done from 11 to 13+6 (i think roughly) and if you miss the window you can't do it!

I suppose if my dates are wrong then i will just be too early for the Nuchal so i'd just have to come back again.

Pain though. So i now i have to wait around 8 weeks to find out how far gone ii am. So i won't even know when i hit the lovely 12 week mark (

awww hugs, i personaly would go with your instints on this one just untill your scan hugs again

that is soo annoying cant you phone your epu and beg them for a scan to reasure you since you have a loss before, if they think its a reasurrance scan they might do it rather than a dating one

I looked up our EPU and they they only give scans based on referal from GP or A&E which is fair enough i suppose.

But i can't halp worry. Although last time i had scans at 7 and 11 weeks and was happy straight after but then kept think, well not out of the woods yet!

I think i will have a chat with the midwife. When i get an appointment though, if it's not to late. And then try and get her to sort something for me!

I just think its so hard not knowing that i could be 2 weeks different to waht they are saying. And it drags being pregnant anyway. To be put back a couple of weeks would be gutting!!

i would definately see if your midwife can get you a referral hun tell her how anxious you are and ask if theres any chance you could have a reasurance scan earlier xxxxxxxxxxxx

I would try the midwife too!! Tell her there is no way you can be 6 weeks and see if you can get an early scan!!
