Rubys first Christmas...

Had a sad day (we lost OHs nan this morning to cancer ) but tried to make the day as special as possible...heres a few piccies......

Last night we hung a special key for Santa to get in door as we dont have a chimney (excuse OH looking ruff, hes had a tuff few days )

We left Santa a can of Bud and packet of crisps (incase he was bored of mince pies and sherry ) and a carrot and water for Rudolph...

Ruby had other ideas tho ....

Hes been mummy!! Are they ALL for me?

At Grandmas, ANOTHER huge box (it was a rocking horse)...

my gran died on christmas day too (a few years ago); one of her friends wrote to me afterwards and said that only special people were born or died on christmas day. i thought that was really lovely and still find it comforting.

despite the sadness, it looks as though ruby had a fabulous time! they're lovely pics
