Fed up, every fking evening I get at least an hour of screaming the hoyse down cause I've put him to bed. Had such a shitty day, bar the 4hrs my auntie was here, decided today that well have to give thw dog up, we've had her for a year n since Charlie came shes been naughty and its causing too much stress and strain on us...so bit upset about that, Charlie has generally just been grumpy all day, I feel like my house is a dive and all the housewotks getting on top of me, I'm tired cause I feel so stressed I cant sleep and just end up waiting for Charlie to wake for his feed, which is always different times these days...OHs making me feel bad about the dog n arghhh just everyone fk off and leave me alone!!! Charlie is currently screaming in his ropm, I'm in my room on the verge of tears...what the hell am I doing wrong, I dunno if its a temper tanyrum, it really sounds like one n hes really impatient and wants his own way now. Suppose if it is its my fault cause I just hurry to him all the time, anything for an easy life but not in the long run :,( x

Not sure what to suggest as I am having similar crying issues .... It is rough! :hugs:

Oh Hun, I really hope things get better for you. Sounds like a horrible time yu are having. We have just sold our bearded dragon due to us not giving her the attention. Also her big stank. :-( really got to me. Sending you loads of hugs. :hugs: x

I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong :( I know today he's overtired but I can't get him to map iv he won't, his daytime routines kit vanished, he does what he wants when he wants and i end up doing housework after he's gone to bed and I just feel like a zombie and look like crap all the time...getting me so down, I wanted more kids but now I've changed my mind he is such hard work, he had the attention span of a gnat, so I'm constantly doing different things to.entertain him, most days well go out for about 2 hours so I can try and get him to sleep in yhe late afternoon and hes just too nosy on what's going on. Does anyone else get these days? Little things have just beenaling me teary today,.like when he threw up on my new top and all over the carpet, I know its not his fault but just got really upset...and then the dog kept being naughty so that upset me, then I got upset with myself as I couldn't even bring myself to smile at Charlie when he was smiling at me in the bath :( felt like a terrible mum but couldn't smile just wanted to cry x

Oh we had to get rid of our beardie, we were told they can pass salnonella to babies :( she was lovely too x

Hun I can sympathise :( I've literally had no sleep for 3 weeks now! Stanley used to sleep through then a few weeks back, bam!!! He wakes at 1am and I've tried everything!!! He won't even take a feed at night!!! I just don't know what to do :( I know what's its like him and no-one seems to actually understand how bad it can be :( is he teething? Xx

Could it be his teeth hun or his ears? Have you had a feel round his gums, see if there's anything going on?

He will also pick up on when you are stressed, so that will feed his anxiety also, I know there's not much you can do though as know what it's like when you are pushed to the limits.

I'm sorry that your dog is being a handful. We were lucky with our dog, now dogs!! He doesn't like LO but he knows his place and his routine has been kept exactly the same as pre-baby and nothing changed for him. We got another dog so he had someone to play with and they love each other. Hard work though, massive commitment when you have a LO to look after also, and I do find it hard sometimes.

Have you tried giving LO some calpol? See if it might be something physical?

they can only pass salmonella if they have it, and if you wash hands after handling them then its ok. mine died recently so i dont have to worry about it anymore. i feel for you hun, wish i could suggest something, maybe be strict with the dog and shut her away from you if she does anything naughty. mine are scared to put a paw wrong and i never had to hit them or anything, i have them to the point where i just have to sternly say 'for shame' and they hide their heads away lol

Lmao, for shame that's so good! We've tried everything with her, today was the last straw when she started barking at c and frightened him, and usually she never barks. She's going to an older couple who live for their dogs, take them on hols in the caravan n get them properly groomed etc so she will love it, we were thinking of getting another dog for her but I don't think I could cope, plus dog hairs do my head in, not that she malts much. I did almost try calpol bit sometimes I wonder if he just likes the taste, he has teething gel before bed and if I don't give it him he cries so I'm not sure if he just waNts the taste. His front gums are quite bulging and white but no teeth, does feel sharp where his 2 front teeth are, he's been teething from 9 weeks on and off, when I feel though what do I feel for? N he never let's me look, hates having his face touched (bit like me lol) xx

Sounds like how Oz got when his teeth started cutting, he was around your LOs age when his 2 bottom fronts come through, shortly followed by the 2 front tops. He started teething symptoms at 8 weeks old and didn't cut until week before being 6 months! The sharpness sounds like they are cutting! Only thing works for Oz was calpol, and now calprofen when he gets really bad. His incisors came through really quick, like a week-10 days from feeling the sharp corner. But he's just cut 4 molars at once and they have taken from 2 March and only just finihsing coming through!

maybe spring for an amber teething necklace or anklet to save giving the gel / calpol? works for some ppl. dogs are quite simple, mine got a small smack once or twice as puppies and i have a totally unmistakable firm voice so they pretty much do what i say instantly. the new spaniel isnt as good but he loves lo and licks her head if anyone else holds her to check shes ok. shame he dosent come back when called if he escapes out the door :( he is learning tho. you know whats for the best and if the dog is stressing you out its better for all of you that she goes to a new home. maybe when lo is older you can get a puppy and train it with lo at classes or something

I don't think oh would let me have a dog again lol, its more for her like if its raining we don't go out for walks, she doesn't let me brush or cur her hair she will for oh but he's always busy with work n that, so she looks all tatty and sulky and that. She does live other dogs and older kids but not Charlie... Oh came home listened to my rant, ran me a bath n went its just cause you're coming on the rag -_- for one, I only have a period every 2 months at most since having Charlie and 2 even if I was you should still say aww there there lol. Men, awkward, all of them! X

Ps I got an amber bracelet but it didn't seem to make any diff, and he pulls/kicks it off anyway so its just sat in my jewllwey box, might slip it back on later though xxx
