I feel like such a hypochondriac, but along with everything else (anaemia, spd, gestational diabetes), I think I've got restless leg syndrome. I didnt know it at first, I've gone through months of experiencing tingling in my feet at night, and until I came across an article about pregnancy related rls, I didnt know this was a symptom of it. Then last night I literally couldnt stop moving my leg. As daft as it sounds, no matter how comfy i was generally, the urge to move my leg for no reason just took over.

Anyone else suffered similar?

I think restless leg syndrome is pretty common in pregnancy, especially towards the end!

Might be worth googling ways to ease it, as I think it can be helped via diet.

This is my least favorite pregnancy symptom after morning sickness. It really interupts my sleep. I have it when I'm not pregnant too but much worse in pregnancy. It is really horrid. Massage or exercise before going to bed seem to work the best for me but sometimes nothing works.

I've started feeling a bit like this when I'm really tired. IF I can't stop moving my legs or fidgetting with them it usually means I need to get in bed quickly and nap! Which of course is easier said than done if you keep moving them! X

I can't recommend wearinh sport compression socks enough! They were a life saver in my first pregnancy!x

I've actually learned to sleep while moving my legs! Sometimes I wouldn't be able to sleep otherwise.

yes! Its a nightmare isnt it, I used to get it occasionally when not pregnant but now its most nights. Its not painful but is torture like! I bought some body shop cooling gel (someone on here recommended it) which when it gets bad I rub it on my legs and it seems to help long enough for me to get to sleep :)
