Referred to fertility clinic FINALLY

Hi all

So after 6 months of test we are finally being referred to a fertility clinic.

Tests done so far

Hubby
SA - normal

Me
Ultrasound to check for irregular womb/cysts - normal
STI tests - none
HSG - Totally clear
Day 5 bloods - Slight hormone imbalance (pcos?)
Day 21 - Not ovulating

Can anyone tell me their experience of fertility clinics? How long they had to wait for an appointment, if they re did the tests and the outcome?

I had to wait about 8-10 weeks for my first appt. at that appt I saw a fertility nurse who checked my bmi and then referred me for an hsg. Oh and I had to be checked for rubella immunity.

As you've already had the hsg you may be given your course of treatment at that first appt?

You never know, it sounds like you might benefit from Clomid, which is simple for them to prescribe, you might get it on the day.

Yes I had the second appointment after my hsg was clear and was prescribed provera to induce a bleed and clomid. Unfortunately I haven't been able to start them yet as that hospital charged £450 a cycle for the tracking scans so I've been referred to a new hospital by my GP - which is next Thursday (at last!)

£450! How often do you have to go for scans on clomid?

I'm hoping for clomid tbh as everything else seems to be working apart from the ovaries!
