Hi everyone
Busy time in Tri 3 eh! Seems like loads of babies just about to make an appearance!
Little update from me - I've been chugging along quite nicely with my gestational diabetes, insanely jealous of all you eating Easter Eggs mind, but managing it ok. Consultant I saw today said my sugar levels were so high after the GTT that diagnosed it she was virtually certain I'd need medication but I'm managing it so well it's hopeful I'll not need any medication, so a big woo hoo for that.
Also, got scanned today and baby isn't growing massive which is the worry with GD.
However, the scan also showed my waters have significantly reduced since the last scan 5 weeks ago - they were middle of the range, and are now at the very lowest edge of normal, but still within normal range. Any experience of this anyone?
I have another scan next week to check the levels, and though consultant hasn't said, I think (from Google and one woman at work - perhaps not so reliable!) they will induce me if levels have gone down again. She also told me to be super aware of baby movements etc and any concerns I have to go straight away to hospital, a bit scary!
Anyway, back to the baby watches!
