Just for a bit of fun, I thought we could share stories of silly reasons why our little ones cry or meltdown!

After Cam had his bath yesterday I asked him if he wanted me to dry his hair using my hairdryer. He said no so I didn't. He then had a huuuge meltdown because I didn't dry his hair with the hairdryer!! :wall:

He asked for some juice. I gave it to him. Cue tears and crying!!

Can't win eh?

Anyone else care to share?

Because I blew my nose...apparently he doesn't like the sound :/

Daniel cries whenever anything is taken away from him, which happens a lot, courtesy of his big sister.

Eleanor screams her head off when the TV is switched off, when she's asked to use the potty before we leave the house and when we turn left out of our front door instead of right for a change.

James got upset about creaky floorboards in a shop the other day.

He was with his uncle but apparently got so scared he cried and tried to climb up his uncles leg.

Made me sad actually - sad that he is scared of floorboards  but also sad I wasn't there.

My 8 month old cries If...

We try to take her plastic bath duck off her at anytime during the day, Even if she needs to eat.

You stop her doing anything she wants to do lol she doesn't learn it doesn't work though

You put her in her car seat without her giraffe

If you eat anything in front of her that she wants lol

Whenever the Pinky Ponk turns up on In The a Night Garden instead of the Ninky Nonk...

The Hoover! Had a massive fit over me hoovering the living room carpet. 10 minutes later totally fine lol

Oh loads of stuff makes Haydn turn into Sad Tortoise (that's what we call the face he makes right before the tears come) the hairdryer, burps (?! but not his) fixed items he cant pick up and put in his mouth!

Oh if she can't have my mobile while I'm talking on it gets a big fit of tears.

The hand dryers scare my dd too, and the latest is planes or helicopters in the sky, she panics and cries whenever she hears the noise bless her

I totally get why! That programme is freaky haha. Banned him from watching anything but disney channel lol

the hand dryer in the ladies toilets, runs a mile

xx

Luke hates them too! Especially the dyson ones.

I hate in the night garden! I swear giggle piffle is a mass murderer or something- smothers people with that red blanket.

Aw, my LO loves in the night garden!

He had a screaming fit in Asda earlier cos I tried a hat on him!

He's not scared or bothered by too many things to be honest. The main hissy fits are reserved for if I take something off him or tell him no!

Lacie cries if mummy and daddy hAve a cuddle in front of her lol x

yep hand dryers in toilets Thomas hates - also has a weird obsession with rubber ducks and if you take one off him once he's got it you get big tears.

Oh yeh hand driers too!! Always cries. Just dry my hands with loo roll now, lesser of two evils!

My kid screams when her sock isn't on 100% perfect.

Like a full on shit fit. she doesn't stop until I rearrange the sock.

And if her hands are dirty or she drops food on herself.

My son cries on a daily basis because we are not going to tesco lol. I swear he would live there if he could
