Gosh, I was so ill lastnight. I started a headache at around 4pm but thought ok, it's just a normal pregnancy headache cos I've had them before. We had parents in law over and it just kept getting worse so when they left at about 9 I went to bed. But it got worse and worse, I don't think I've ever had such a bad headache. To wind up, I started to get nauseous too, and eventually ended up throwing up violently. After that, I felt ok but still wobbly and managed to get to sleep. Woke up this morning and all well, not a trace of a headache, I'm hungry and just a bit tired.

OH thinks I should go to the doc to get checked out. I dunno. I felt bean move very strongly yesterday but not since then really. But it's early in the pregnancy to be feeling it so regularly.

What do you think? Wish I'd bought a doppler.

Well - 16 views and no answer. Guess that tells me huh?

I know ppl think I'm a panicky cow. :(

Sounds like a migraine to me. I've had them alot this pregnancy. MW told me if it lasts over a full day to give them a call.

The only thing that helps me is trying to get to sleep and trying to drink plenty of water with the odd paracetamol - They take the edge of it slightly.

Glad you're feeling better though!

Hope you feel better soon, if your worried give your midwife a call she should be able to put you mind at ease, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and rest

Hi honey, if you are at all worried speak to your midwife. Strong headaches followed by sickness can be worrying for anyone and you are pregnant too. If anything at least it'll put your mind at rest.

I always overdo things when the in laws or over so try to take it really easy today and drink lots of fluids too.

I've had some killer headaches with sickness too. I wish i could dose myself up like i would normally with a headache. I just curl up in bed and hope it will be better by morning.

Thanks girls. I actually have been feeling poorly today too but unfortunately I had to bring Naomi to the ortho consultant for a checkup as she is turning her feet in and so had a fractious bored child in a hospital waiting room most of the afternoon.

I'm not too worried now, about the only thing that's niggling is the fact that I haven't felt baby move since yesterday afternoon but it is kind of early to be feeling it that frequently.

In Ireland, we don't really have a specific midwife allotted to us. We ring our hospital and take pot luck with the ones on the labour ward. I may just do that if I don't feel any movement by tomorrow.

Ok...

im 15 weeks and im not even sure i've felt baby move TBH hun so im sure it's nothing too much to worry about. Most people dont for ages or dont much at all and everyhting is fine. I was thinking of getting a doplar but like my OH said i'll just be more worried if i cant find a heartbeat. I've still got bad nausea and i had a huge headache yesterday as well and went home early form work to sleep it off so that reassures me all is okay - good old nausea!

hope you feel at ease soon though hun and if it really is worrying you that much then see someone as i'm sure stressing about it is not good for you either. xxxxxx

Hey Sue...sounds typical of a migraine I think, but if your still feeling poorly and are concerned go get yourself seen to, even if its just your GP.

As for movements, I havent really felt many movements yet and this is my second, baby wont be big enough yet to move around and for you to feel it 'really' well so dont panic too much!

I feel like shit at the moment too....here are some
