RBS Bank statement

does anybody know if i go into my local RBS tomorrow and request a bank statement will they give me one over the counter because the thing is I am applying for a bond scheme with my local council and they need a CHB number to prove I have a child, so I can get a private house as my lease on my property is over on 13th august and I am not allowed to renew it so have to move elsewhere ASAP

I worked for RBS a few years back and we were not able to give bank statements over the counter (I don't know if this has changed though). We can give a print out of recent transactions but this is not an official statement. They can order them for you and you can select the time period but I'm sure there was a small charge of £5.
As I said this could have changed (I'm going back 4years here) so worth popping in and asking xx

I'll pop in tomorrow and ask then it's just that I need proof of my child benefit number and it gets paid into my partners bank account

Isnt it written in your red book? It is in mine but I think the red book in wales is a bit different

I have been in and got one but it doesn't have the CB number on it
