i remember reading somewhere that your brain can't compute rational decisions until your 25!!
so i was wondering, what do we all think!

as much as i'm attempting to forget it  i'm turning 25 on monday and i was wondering if i was going to wake up a much rational person, suddenly think, omg! what have i done with my life
personally i wouldn't say i'm irrational, i'm a person that takes there time with things, and constantly thinks things through!

i always think maturity and thus rationality comes not only with time and age, but with what happens in our life, and the path we take.

so surely age is just a number?

i agree hun. depending on your life experiences and stuff, you'll react to things different ways. its like anything i suppose!!

I totally agree with you... I don't think I was any more irrational than I am now before I was 25

I don't think I'm irrational. Maybe I suddenly will become a lot more rational but can't see it happening tbh. I always think for ages before making decisions xx

I know I'm more patient than I was at 25, not sure whether I'm more rational but I have changed alot in the last ten years.

I used to let people walk over me but now I'm quite the opposite :oooo:

I think I'm calmer though in different ways, I've mellowed slightly with age

i often think i'm mellowing with age mamafy, then that little pit-ball comes out again
my views and out look on life has changed quite a bit compared to, say when i began university, oh so idealistic, but then i got a mortgage lol! but i don't think i've changed that much, and i don't think i'm more rational, but hey! monday will tell

Im 25 and I can be rational about things depending on the situation. I dont think it happened when I turned 25 probablly more so when I had Chloe x

so true! i too have found once i had responsibilities, like mortgage then maddi, i became more rational x

I reckon you are in a way. Sound judgement and good sense is a part of being rational and I think thats something that most (if not all) Mums have x

See Toria there you are you're rational

Oh no, I'm not that rational. I haven't even considered that me being pregnant this month may mean I give birth on my 21st birthday, or that I'll have a 2 year old and a newborn and I get stressed enough with one nutter running around the house. I'm a clean freak and Caitlyn's mess puts me in a right mood sometimes  Imagine with two?!

What's the fun in being rational though!?

:rofl: so true! i'm over rational atm, and it's not fun  thinking of putting ttc off till jan, as if i get pregnant in the september it will be maddi's 3rd birthday! (to the date if on my wedding night ;)) so boring
