Rash

Brody's had a tiny raised eczema type rash above his belly button for about a week and now he's got a rash on the side of his torso and back. This has been the last few days and has come and gone but today looks worse. I thought it has might of been heat rash as was coming and going.

The photos not clear, you can only really see the raised rash above belly button, but wondered if anyone's lo has had similar? I've booked a doc appointment.

Now wondering if an allergy to food (has only had fruit and veg) or product

Sorry I don't have a clue what it could be but I hope he's okay and that everything goes okay at the docs. Does he have a temp or anything? x

That looks like a contact allergy, has he been wearing jeans or anything with a metal button? Have you changed washing powder/conditioner?I would have thought an internal allergy would have been more widespread and more spotty but could be wrong xxxxxxx

Looks like either the food or the button from his trousers have triggered his eczema, it doesn't look like an allergy rash. Or could daddy blowing raspberrys with a prickly beard set it off too?

In fact the shape of it looks like ringworm but it's not red enough IMO!

Thanks ladies. The picture was pants it's actually bigger than that and looks like heat rash although there is that wee patch too! He doesn't have trousers with buttons.

I've got doc appt thurs but will call tmrw and see if I can get an emergency one (could only get thurs in advance but our doc has a few appts if you call first thing).

Does he seem well in himself Olive? Or have a temp? If so I'd be tempted to get him seen sooner than thursday x

Yeah he seems fine but was unwell a few days ago. Here is a better pic. Am gonna call first thing tmrw and try and get appointment tmrw definitely as its worrying me. X

I get them when I eat strawberries weirdly enough.

Thanks hun. He has had an Ella's sachet with a strawberry in it but not for over a week. Wonder if it was that. Hopefully doc will be able to help. X

Does it come and go or is it always there? If it comes and goes then it could be a hive.

They are caused by allergies mostly though I think.

It does come and go and fades when press with glass. It has gone down a lot tonight. Hope doc can shed some positive light. Thanks girlies xxx
