rant about all sorts.

She sounds like a loony toon! She got no legal rights and if she starts properly harassing you I would make a complaint against her but you can only do that after she has harassed you for certain amount of time, is threatening etc. something to bare in mind though if she continued with mental behaviour x

She's 26.....and just a friend Im just so shocked by her reply she has never ever been like that so it's really just thrown me! I never replied and just blocked her number and I don't want her around my baby thankfully she doesn't live close by so she can't just see me in shops etc when he's here either. I can't be doing with that I'm 24 and I'm more mature than her about a lot of things I always seem to be the one to pick up the pieces after her so I've washed my hands of her. Sad but I can't have someone that unstable around my son xxx

Sounds like a bit of a nutter. If she doesn't like babies then why is she so desperate to see him? I think she needs to be cut out of your life.

I've lost a few friends since being pregnant but I believe it works both ways and being pregnant you have to make an effort too, yes you may not be going out drinking but no reason you can't have a night out on soft drinks with your friends instead whilst they carry on with their normal routine. It works both ways and takes a bit of compromise. And even though you are 100% thinking/talking about baby, not everyone wants to hear about it, make sure you're asking questions about their lives and what's happening to them too x

Ohh my, she's a bit doolally! Well done you on getting rid, you definitely don't need people like that around bubs.

Also, we're the same age! You learn something new every day!

Thanks ladies, I did try to make the effort with her invited her here for a day out shopping and maybe a girly night at the cinema with food but she never replied and after a while I just got to the point of why do I bother? It just upset me that is txt ask if she wanted to meet up go for a day out to be ignored everytime. Are we kumber? :) how're you and little one doing? Xxx

We're doing well thanks hun :) I bobbed you a PM the other day but wasn't sure if you got it.

A bit late seeing as you have plenty of replies, but seriously, once baby is here, you won't actually give a shit about people coming and going. Your priorities and outlook on life change immensely. Before my lb was born, I wouldn't say boo to a goose... Now, if someone is getting to me, I just have it out with them and then move on... It's almost like having a baby has given me a new sense of confidence and security and now, if people get to me, I feel perfectly comfortable walking away. All of the stupid trivial things (like the petty argument with your friend) really do just wash over you and you learn to care less. Having a baby certainly toughened me up, I had someone that needed my protection.

Since being in my 30's I only have time for people who give back to me. I have family like that. Can't be bothered with it. It's funny but since being like this I feel more loved and supported than ever before. Totally agree with what people have said. Tell her lovingly but honestly how you feel, then it's up to her. If she doesn't get it she's not worth it. Xxx

Oh my, I would say you are totally best off finding out she is like this now rather than later! It's sad, but as others have said you willl make so many new friends once the baby is here. It does take effort, you have to go to groups and chat to strangers even if it seems daunting at first, but it will be your lifeline!

I do believe it's easy to get carried away when you are pregnant, especially with your first. It's the biggest thing tjat has ever happened in your life, but for other people it is just 9 normal months. The beginning is exciting, the end is exciting, the rest not so much. Their lives continue and especially if they are not in that 'place' they won't want to be talking just baby.... Although we can find it hard to relate to much else!

There is that saying about fun used to be nights out, getting drunk and sleeping in till 10. Once you have kids fun is hunting for sticks, blowing bubbles, snuggling up to watch Disney and sharing giggles at 5 in the morning. It's so true, you just need to find friends who have the same new fun as you will x

Oh no I don't think I did kumber I don't even know how to find my messages haha I'll have a mooch now. Yeah she's just kinda lost it on me I don't understand why now if I'm honest I'll just ignore her and leave it be. Thanks ladies xxxx
