I'm an only child and I really feel like I'm at a huge disadvantage! Now my girls are at the age where they can properly play together, they can now also properly argue! I sort of wing it when it when it comes to dealing with their conflict, but I never know if I'm doing it wrong and I can't help feeling that I'd be better at it if I had my own experiences with my own siblings.

Am I alone in this?

I have a younger brother and I'm totally winging it with my two! Lol!

I'm the youngest of 4 and sometimes I don't know what I'm doing either! My eldest is 17 so I've been a parent for a while and I'm still learning as I go!

For the most part I try and let them settle disputes by themselves. If that doesn't work then I will intervene, sometimes separating them to calm down but it doesn't always work.
