I know it's hot weather, and I'm drinking for two, but has anyone else noticed a mad thirst? Drinking lots of water with barley cordial, and ice tea like it's going out of stock (in my local Tesco, it has!) - any chance this could be a sign of diabetes?! I am at risk, due to PCOS, but it doesn't run in my family, and recently I can't stand veggies (though I was never keen) and have been quite keen on eating refined sugar (never had so many biscuits in the house!).

I was sooooo thirsty in 1st tri it was unreal!!

By the end of 1st and leading into 2nd tri it seemed to wear off, wait and see what happens :)

Cheers. Thirst seems to have calmed down a little, but will mention it to the midwife I think.

for me it has gotten worse! i cant stop peeing.x

Im exactly the same as you hun, there isnt the time in the day to drink the amount of water that I feel I need!! Think it is normal hun, wouldnt worry too much!!

Thank god it's not just me. I jsut cannot seem to drink enough at the moment. Woke up this morning with one of those awful dehydration headaches. Drinking like mad now, but it's only just now starting to ease off..................

Problem with me is that I used to drink loads of water but went right off it with the nausea. I tried to make up for it by drinking lots of other stuff but think because my bodies used to the water it just didn't like it. Gonna mention it to the midwife..................when I finally get to meet one!
