Just wondering how long it took you all to get pregnant?
(persuming you were trying that is!)

i have been trying 6 months now and AF turned up today so just wanted to have a nosey and find out!!

Hope everyone is well :D

Starting trying after the world cup last year.. so July... became pregnant in April/May.... so 9 months...

2 cycles and mc'd on 1st..

make sure you are having sex before during and after ovulation..2 days before the day your due and then every other day after that untill af shows.. good luck xx

A year. It only happened when I stopped fretting about when I was ovulating and all that malarkey and just went with when it feels right. I did actually read a study which said that when women naturally feel like they want to have sex when they're ovulating which means that if you just go with the flow, you're as likely to conceive as if you chart and all that business.

Make sure you are BDing in the 5 days before expected ovulation. It can't happen more than 24 hous after ovulation. Some people say do it alternate days to preserve volume but I would say only do that if your cycle is irregular and it is difficult to know when to expect ovulation. If you know roughly when you expect to ovulate I would do it every day for the 5 days before. Quite a lot of people seem to report having ovulated earlier than expected.

Temperature monitoring is really useful if you aren't allready doing that - when the temperature has gone up you know you have ovulated 24-36 hours before and you can stop trying - it also stays up when you are pregnant so is another way of knowing for sure. It is also helpful for recognising any problems if your cycle doesn't follow the usual pattern.

We got pregnant the first cycle we tried - I'd like to think it was skill and planning but I think it's more to do with luck. I know plenty of people who got pregnant straight away and then for the second took ages (as well as vice versa).

Good luck!! Keep us posted.
