Hi everyone,
Just a quick question. I got a smiley positive opk on cd12
which was earlier than expected but we BD regularly so I
wasn't concerned about missing it. Anyway I carried on with
opks just to see if I got another smiley face which I did on
CD19.
Anyway I've noticed that my nipples are really sensitive (sorry
if it's tmi!) and normally they're not sensitive at all, regardless
of the time of the month. Could I have been caught CD12,
would I notice any symptoms yet as I'm only on CD22...
Puzzled.com!
Any advice appreciated ladies, thank you xx

Hi Louise  Im sure there will be a lot more informed ladies on here who will be better able to advise you but I just asked a similar(ish) questions about when to test. I think if you are 10dpo now you could test in 2days time with a sensitive test. Ive been told about ladies getting bfp's 11 and 12 dpo so im thinkng yes you could be having symptoms already. Hope this helps xx

So why we're you looking for another smiley face after you'd already had ovulation?)

U could test now at 10dpo if u wanted I got a bfp dpo 9 altho vvv faint but it is best to wait till at least 12dpo but I am a poas addict n couldn't help it unfortunatly I had a mmc but I'm bk in the game and ttc again best of luck hope its ur month xxx

It is possible for you to dedect your surge, then not ovulate - then your body gears up for another surge and you would ovulate on the 2nd time. However, if nipple sensitivity is not normal for you at any stage it could mean you are pregnant - try an early response test or wait a couple of days and test to be sure :) good luck

I get really sensitive nipples with ovulation so wouldn't mean much to me, lol

Could well be a symptom hun, get a FRER and test :) x x

Thanks ladies, I'm going to give it a bit longer i think
before I test, really hate bfns (as we all do!) so want to
give myself the best chance.

Lara, I kept testing just because I thought it was too early
to ovulate really and normally I get a slight twinge in my side
just before I ov which I didn't feel at that time but did feel
before the second positive, I suspect the first one was just
a surge like Iwant3 said. Who knows!!

I'm going to hold off til after the weekend (if I can!) and
test next week, thanks for all the good luck xxx
