Before Clark was born we bought loads of stuff from M&P's, falling for the usual you get what you pay for theory. Since he has been here nearly everything we bought has fallen apart, the worst things are:

Millie and Borris changing station which was £90  has a changing mat on top and within his first two months all four corners had ripped open due to weak seams and now it looks a right mess, I only wanted it in the first place because it looked the nicest! (they wont replace this as it was a gift and I dont have the heart to tell the person who bought it for us that its actually crap!)

The plastic hook on his Boris Bear mobile actually broke and the entire thing fell into his cot, luckily he wasn't sleeping in there at the time! (they sent me a new arm but I wont use it again incase it does fall on him!)

There have been about 5 other things (mostly toys) I have had to either just bin or complain about :x Its driving me mad :x

i had the mamas and papas high chair and it was rubbish like you the stiching came away on the seat insert after 2 weeks which they relaced and within 3 weeks it happened again and the plastic strap that went between the legs had to be replaced 3 times because it kept breaking in the end after 4 months i gave it away on freecycle

I have got a M&P Beat buggy and a M&P bouncer chair and I havn't had any problems with either of them. Surely the person who bought the changing station for you would rather you exchange it than keep it when it's faulty.

have to say our high chair fell apart, all the cushion bit split. and our aria buggy broke twice, they did fix it first time though.

I have this changing station and swear by it, had no problems whatsoever, and it's at a great height for me. I really would highly recommend it, however having heard this hmmm

I also have the M&P Cityscape Travel System (X-Cel) and think it's brill.

Hope you have a better experience if you ever buy anything again, doubt it tho after your experience

I want an M&P changing station, bit worried now but perhaps it was just a faulty batch that yours came from.

We bought everything from M&P with our first and haven't had any problems at all with any of it.

I would tell the person who bought you the M&P changing station as they could get it changed for you. They cost so much money, it's a shame not to get it replaced.
