Question about coq10.

Thanks hun think he's going to kill me all the stuff I keep suggesting but he is also being awesome to

Something I would suggest especially if your OH is being supportive is to get him to be your voice of reason. My OH was so good too and willing to try things etc but I wish I'd got him to do that sooner as it's so easy to get caught up into trying everything at once and spending a small fortune!! It will do you so much good if he wants to be involved as you'll feel like so much more of a team which is just so much better when things seem tough. A lot of ladies on here find it more difficult when they feel like their OH isn't putting as much effort in as they are.
Yea we are sticking with what we have ordered on Amazon for now and we shall reevaluate in 4-5 months if we are still waiting for out bfp

That sounds like a good plan. I think it was around the 12-18 month mark I turned into a bit of a crazy lady but in a way it just sort of happened before I even realised!!

Yea but I can totally understand it. I said to my OH the other night that I just want to make sure we have tried as much as we can naturally before we hit the point I can go to the doctors and start asking for help. That's mainly because it's what I do anyway if I have a problem I do as much as I can before I go for help, like with my fibro once I got my diagnosis I went on meds and then I went and paid for pain management course and did loads of research while I was on the waiting list for the pain team so lotrwlly by time I got to them the only thing they could really do was help with trying me on different meds and then I ended up having infusions and going meds free and even with my arithmia I knew my heart rate was high so I cut caffeine and got to the gym to see if I was just mega unfit and then it got to the point of wasn't getting better but my symptoms were getting worse so I went to the gp and got refered to cardiology so all they ended up doing was putting one of those monitors on me for 24 hours.

We were exactly the same in that we needed to know we had done everything we possibly could before accepting invasive help. I like to read and research and ask questions so it probably isn't surprising that I felt the need to give everything a go. Sadly it happens for a lot of ladies of here.

Yea my health care team back home loved it because I always did part of the work already instead of relying on them but I think that's purely because of the 7 years I worked in the care sector I prefer to try and sort myself out first if it's nothing serious lol just need to find a gp and all that that understands how I do stuff

Has anyone had any side effects from taking CoQ10?

I've been feeling really hot and nauseaus the last few days and I've been taking Coq10 150mg for the past week. I'm wondering if its the tablets that are making me feel ill? I've been taking vitamin D, folic acid and general vitamins for the last year so I know it's not those.

I once took a multi-vitamin for pregnant women that was so high in iron I threw up on the train platform, got my hopes up I was pregnant and discovered it was the bloomin' tablet.

It's a minefield!

Haha you sound like me. It's the nurse in me I think!! It's funny - some doctors love it and some hate it. When I first saw a consultant when I started having issues with high prolactin she actually said to me 'you'd already diagnosed yourself before you got here hadn't you?' She loved it though cos I was quite happy to arrange all my own blood tests and things and it just saved a lot of hassle.

Try cutting it hun and see how you feel if it obviously stops then it's that but if it doesn't it could be something else but even changed in your diet can make you feel abit like that
