question about 20 week scan

I am 20 weeks 2mrw but my 20 week scan aint til 14 th of april i b 21 weeks and 4 days did any 1 wait this long seems alot of u had ur scan at bang on 20 weeks

I'll be 20 + 5 when I have mine, I think it's just when the hospital can fit you in tbh.

I had mine at 20+3 but had to be rescanned due to baby's position and that wasn't till 22+1!
I checked with midwife to see if this would be too late for checks and measurements and she said it should be done ideally before 22 weeks to get correct measurements x

well it b b4 22 weeks so thats something i aint worried about little one i had a private scan at 16 weeks and hb been listen to on friday and the week b4 at the hospital

This is ok babe, so long as you get seen within your 20-23rd week you'll be ok that is normal... i had my scan i was 21.4days then had to go back on my 23.5days because my bubba wouldnt play ball n help them out lol xxx

at my hospital it is routine to scan you at 22 weeks and not 20 weeks xx

I had mine at 19+4 but that was because I was booked in when I was leaving the hospital from my 12 week scan. They gave me a choice of a couple of dates, so I got to book in the easiest day for me to get there. I was surprised when I got home & realised that I wasn't even going to be 20 wks by then. I was expecting to be given a non-negotiable date in the post like you do for most hospital appointments. In our area, however, the booking timescale seems to be between 19 & 21 weeks.

i got my appot when i went for y 12 week scan they gave it 2 me then instead of posting it
