Put my tree up!

Pointless thread but got my little brother (well, not so little he's 18 lol) to clamber in the attic for me and have now got my Christmas tree out, whoop! Looks a bit funny cos haven't got any decorations on it yet but am leaving that to OH this year as I did it last year.
Feels weird to think about Christmas tbh cos everything I think about is related to the baby coming and I hadn't really thought any further on!
Better find some time to buy presents to go under the tree now lol

Yay!! I'm gonna do mine in the week, I did all my Xmas shopping in October lol wrapped and all! So I am pretty much ready to go. X

That's exactly what I plan to do today!

I've written all my Christmas cards and nearly finished the shopping - all done online! Just need to wrap them now!

I know what you mean though, Christmas is a secondary event this year!

We put ours up last night and it really was a strange feeling, I normally love doing it and feel really Christmassy not this year probably too busy thinking that this time next week all going well my boys should be here

We put ours up too, a small one this year on a coffee table as we are a bot short of space with pushchair in the loubge etc this year!

Make the most of it tho, as next year your baby will be approaching 1 ! and you will have to have a tree thnat has only baubles on the top half and naked on the bottom half, no chocolates in sight and firmly rooted , weighted to the floor!
