purple mark??

just wanted my son has a purple mark/rash inside the top part of his ear he is well and no sign of temp etc that was my first thought!!!
just wondered if it could be a birthmark that has appeared? my brother wasnt born with a birth mark and now has one going from his hip to his leg or could it be a bruise??
do i need to see a doctor thanks xx

It's more likely hun that he banged it and it left a funny bruise, ears are funny places to get bruises; they always go a funny purple colour x

thanks still the same not sure if the cold weather is making it more purple he isnt in pain but just shocked at what it could be!! thanks i think its a bruise going to se how it goes it patchy!!
