Problems with maxi cost 2 way iso fix base

Currently my car seat is stuck in my iso fix base

I'm going to call the place I bought it from to get it sorted but I wanted to check.if it's a common problem because I bought the seat in Manchester but live in runcorn so if it keeps happening I'd rather get a refund and buy one closer to home..

Basically, one of the latches is sticking on. It's jamming the grey release button and the seat is attached by one of the other latches, which won't release because the release button is jammed. Nightmare!

Has anyone else had this issue?

This happened to mine. I used the pebble car seat for my 1st son. Never had any problems. But been using the Cabriofix for my new baby. And it does seem to stick. My hubby put abit of wd40 on and seems to help lol. We managed to get the seat off in the end. X

Haha, can't believe my oh hasn't done that yet! In our house we follow the mantra "if it doesn't move and it should - WD40 if it moves and it shouldn't - duck tape". Doesn't seem to be a widespread problem so hopefully if they switch it for us all will be OK!

Lol my hubby is the same. I haven't heard anyone else with a probs so might just be a one off. Hopefully you won't have anymore problems. Hope u get it sorted xx

This has happened to us once (in 18 weeks of using the car seat). My oh managed to free it using wd40 and it hasn't happened again. I think if you keep it lubricated it will be fine, I'm not sure there'd be any point in swapping it xx
