Ok I just want to know if anyone else is having this problem or if it's just me.

When I have a bath or a shower it makes me feel awful and like I am going to faint, showers are worse so I'm trying to have baths but it still happens. I figured it was the heat so I have tried just off cold but it still happens.

I now dread having either, which is obviously a problem lol

So anyone else having this problem?

No hun not here, might be worth I suppose getting your BP checked as a precaution x you are right to have cooler to see if that worked but unfortunatley it hasn't worked for you x

well I know I used to faint when I got to hot thats why I went straight for the heat, was dissapointed when it didnt work lol

Yeah I agree with Hopeful, might be worth getting your blood pressure checked. Keep your showers cool, maybe sit down in the shower. Could just be a "pregnancy" thing. When i was about 14 weeks I felt quite dizzy and rough lol.

open a window so you have fresh air coming in too bathrooms can get stuffy

I fainted when I got hot when I was around your stage. It wasn't in the bath but I reckon if i'd have been having hot baths like I used to then i'd have felt the same as you!

Like the others are saying keep the bathroom ventilated if you can and also get you BP checked.

Hope it sorts itself out soon hun coz I hated it when I felt faint alot!

tried that too lol

I thought it was a brilliant idea as it would make it less stuffy, but no such luck

had a cool bath this morning with the window and the door open so there was a flow of air going though the room and thats the best I have managed so far. I didnt feel too bad at all just a bit weak and needed a lie down when I got out.

What should blood pressure be ish? My dad has a blood pressure monitor so I could check it myself just to see (it can be a bit of a nightmare to get into see the doctor here...and midwife is even harder)

I would recommend you actually go in... speak to the receptionist and they should be able to get you to see the nurse in between their appointments, no need to see the doctor unless you have a problem.... the home ones are great to be honest as their calibration goes off from time to time.

He has the one from the nurse on loan for a few weeks, so its not one of the home ones really :)

But I may try and nip down later and see if I can get squeezed in :) You never know eh

i have this problem too, although it isnt every single time but it is most. I suddenly feel an overwhelming feeling of nausea and all i want to do when i get out is curl up in bed. Mainly with baths though, Showers seem to be ok? And i seem at my worst at night. Maybe shower in the morning? or straight from work? x

I normally shower/bath of a morning
But I am goign to switch to nightime I think cus it makes me feel so bad sometimes that it buggers up the rest of my morning, like trying to work and things lol I figuire if I try nights instead at least that way I can just curl up afterwards

Yeh thats a good idea, that way if you feel rough afterwards you can get into bed and fall asleep :)
good luck!
