Probably a fluke

But I am so excited! A is asleep in his cot in his room.

I have been trying to put him awake but he wasnt budging so he was asleep on the breat as usual and I put him in, he started fussing as usual and I turned the lightshow on and he was off.

I have done the same before but he didnt self settle.

Probably will be a one off but I will keep trying, I need him to have naps in his cot.

They all do it in their own time. I fed Oz to sleep til he was 1 years old, then when I stopped he went into his cot and now uses music to get himself to sleep. If he wakes in the night he does self-settle now more often than not, but sometimes still needs reassurance cuddles and goes back down.

I really don't expect more than that at his age though and am so proud of him
