Prob TMI but crusty nipples!

The last few days I have noticed my nipples are well, crusty! Looks like crusty bogies. It upset me and I tried to pick it all off but then just made them sore.

Please tell me someone else is suffering from this? Is it because I'm using loads of creams on them now?

yep....i get that too. Dont worry its just them changing its perfectly normal. Do you use oil, i use johnsons that helps xx dont worry about it xx im 18 weeks too

Erm...im 21weeks and have no symptoms of this, but im sure its just normal. my nipples get reali reali painful likey they are in a clamp and they go blue and white!!!!!!

I've not had this but I do get dry skin on my nipples and they can be sore sometimes too. Aaah the joys of pregnancy!

ooo i get it too, it's cheesy bits! lol, i think it's the little tiny bits of milk leaking and then they just stick there. when cleaning them you have to be careful then it wont be sore like i look at it closely and take the bit out quick with my nails.. (my nipples are really overly sensitive to touch, are yours?!) haha sounds so disgusting when reading back but it has to be done!! xxxx

if its cold or something that makes my nipples hard haha then it feels like they are BURNING!!
Today it leaked on my top from one, that have never happend before! But so far, no crusty bits!

Guys by the sounds of things your body is changing and preparing for breast-feeding, i would be REALLY careful about 'picking' you nipples at this time!

I get this, its just the colostrum i think leaking slightly its nothing to worry about iv had it both pregnancys so i no its normal. x

lol me too the picking is weird but strangely satisfying! my mum said it was ok anyway..! i don't do it dead hard just gently squeeze it off hehe xx

Mine are def dry, I put cream on them!!!

I getthis too it's just bits of dry colostrum I just gentally rub the edge of my nail over it and it lifts it gentally up then I pick it off it's ok to do just like cleaning dead skin cells away ect . . .
