Hi!

I'm going to a big function tonight and my parents and lots of suspicious friends will be there! I am enjoying having this pregnancy as a secret as I had to tell people a bit early with my first baby due to my back giving way and we were living with my parents at the time whilst we moved house.

What can I order that could look like alcohol or has anyone any sneaky tips? I was thinking of making sure my glass is next to DH's and he can just drink from both and then I could order "vodka", soda and lime? In a big prosecco drinker though so that might look odd! X

Any options of getting a virgin mojito or other 'virgin' drinks so as not to arouse suspicion? Other than non alcoholic sparkling wine to look like prosecco I dont know

Something with a 'mixer' OJ, coke, lemonade, soda... just say there's a spirit in there? Or I'm sure the bar staff will make you a mocktail?? X

I always drink tonic (usually drink gin and tonic) or ask for a becks blue in a glass, but to be honest I love wine so it's always quite obvious! I went to a party last weekend and carried the same drink around for about 2 hours and only drank two sips  or failing that say you're on antibiotics? x

Id ask for a coke... lemonade.. i a tall glass with ice! Makes it look like you have a spirit in there
xx

Thanks! So it was a cocktail reception but no mocktail options and grey kept asking why DH was drinking them all. All through my dinner, the more drunk my pals got, the more they keep saying I need to drink up etc. Fortunately they're all so pissed that I'm having to give them water lol.
