Present for BIL??

ok - help ladies.

DH's brother is an asshole - i really dont like him, he caused so much hassle when me moved in together, nearly didnt get invited to the wedding (DH's choice not mine), has a face like thunder in all my wedding pics cos he didnt want to be there.


Anyway - i digress. DH's family arent great at doing birthday/xmas type stuff. BIL didnt acknowledge scott's 30th last year, neither of them did fathers/mothers day, till i decided i was doing it from both of us, but I feel kinda guilty getting presents for my bro and sil, and nothing for sandy.

That said I have no idea where on earth to start, cos i really dont know him very well, he's very into designer stuff, bit of snob - but there's no way we can afford anything fancy.

Is it horrible to leave him out, when it doesnt seem like he's interested??

Go ton boots and get him an aftershave gift set on 3 for 2. They have some nice ted baker ones in at minute. I got my BIL that this year but i will be getting him something else as well. I always feel good about myself if i show i care towards family members even if they are pain in the arses

That sounds like a good idea - will try that.

DH knows I dont like him, but i just dont feel comfy with treating him differently to other folk in the family. But my in-laws are so the complete and utter opposite from my family, its kinda hard to know what they expect/want us to do.
