Wait wait wait...I gave the weights wrong I was reading them from the text I sent my sister and accidentally put what her baby roughly was just before she gave birth; I've had dumb moments a lot lately, wonder if it's this pregnancy. The weights are 6-7lbs, although I say baby number 1 could be less than 6 lbs.

I've just rang my doctor and he is going to induce me tomorrow :D :D :D and I'll be getting a Cesarean section. This will be my first and last pregnancy. I will try and get on here next week to give the exact measurements, thanks for everything :D

I'm so excited but scared

18lb of baby in total and no bump? It's dangerous for three babies that size to be left to sit for weeks.

Sorry hun but there is a lot about this that really doesn't add up :-/

Have a look at your notes - you'll have femur, AC and HC measurements in your scan reports for each baby. If you tell me this I'll go to the website I was telling you about and find out their estimated weights. They might have plotted it on the chart too, so should be fairly easy to tell if it's on par or not.

The fact that you think you are small, yet you have a combined 18-21lbs of baby inside of you is quite concerning so I'm glad you're all of a sudden having your babies tomorrow.

But please clarify - which is it, are you being induced or are you having a planned section? They aren't the same thing...

If they are doing a cesarean they won't need to induce you. They would just do the cesarean!!

That is why this pregnancy is going to be my first and last. The statistics I'm getting told by my doctor doesn't seem right. It is putting stress on me, my husband and our families.

A thing I am enjoying is my 34Cs are now 36Es (My husband likes that as well) but my butt and legs are inexplicable :'(

This is ridiculous. Sorry but I don't understand why anyone would make this stuff up or why but this last fortnight has seen all these 'new' profiles pop up with very bizarre questions or situations like this that just don't make sense, they get caught out and then suddenly another new profile pops up and another bizarre question. Moderators need to get on top of this because so many lovely caring women put time in to answering genuine questions and worries and if it's a load of rubbish it's a waste of people's time and genuine worry

I think that's the least of your worries...

Can I reiterate the questions you haven't answered? You will have had exact sizes given on your growth scans. I had enough last pregnancy to know the measurements they took. Also, are you being induced or having a section tomorrow?

Lastly, new question - are you NHS?? Because a) being able to call your doctor on a Saturday night to get treatment the following day (a Sunday) when it was previously agreed that there would be no immediate action - I wanna know that doctor!! And b) I've never known a consultant to make such a quick decision about anything, and I've seen ooh about a million of them!! Known for their dilly dallying if nothing else.

So... care to share? xx

Troll??
Access to your consultant at 10pm on a Saturday evening then getting a planned section on a Sunday. Something fishy....

Not a bloomin nother one!! :-p

Induction and caesarean?? Your maternity services sound as confused as you! Working in the NHS I know for a fact that consultants do not work for routine calls on a Saturday evening! Would cost them far too much!

All c section is either planned in advance, or done immediately in an emergency. Why didn't your doctor inform you of c section before so you could prepare? Also why would he tell you on the phone?

Aw congratulations! Do you know if you've got girls/boys - identical/not? How exciting. You're so lucky you've got such a good doctor that you can contact them and get an elective section the next day! My hospital only do elective sections on week days and I have to be booked in for one in my 34th week as they get booked up so quickly. Have you considered a home birth? I once knew a woman that was the first woman in the uk to have a home birth with twins, mind you they were no where as big as yours and there were only 2 of them!

Good luck and keep us informed. Can't wait to see you new baby photos tomorrow! xx

PS I've had a section so if you need any advice after just let me know!
