Pregnant teachers

Im a teacher and am 8-9 weeks pregnant (still need confirmation!) I ended up in A&E at the weekend worrying about slight bleeding but turns out i have a kidney infection - Im finding the tiredness hard as well as the sickness...its hard to drag yourself into work and put the same amount into your career as you had done before falling pregnant and I feel guilty...but new priorities have now arisen I guess!!!

I know I only have until Easter to go, strangely working in an All boys catholic high school, the kids are really protective and really helpful!!! They do all know as Im now already showing!!! xxx

Hi All, what a nightmare teaching is when you're preggas! I would love a desk job now, instead of having to control 30 moody teenages from the rough arse end of the city! Having said that, the kids have been great since we returned, although no one knows I'm pregnant yet, but I have found the workload from SMT to be ridiculous. We are due an ofsted so everyone is in hyperdrive, working on our paperwork etc. We also have loads of twighlight insets booked in. As I am HOD I can't get away with slacking off, but really can't be arsed! I don't want to tell the boss till I've had my 12 week scan and amnio (I am an older mum to be) when is everyone else telling the boss? X

Ooh, also, is anyone else a HOD in a large comp and trying to go back say, 4 days a week while keeping the HOD job? Xx
