Pregnant on the IUD

hi,

i just had my 3rd child in July 2016; i am finding it v tough and tiring to take care of baby but i love him to bits and wouldnt change a thing having said that.

i got an IUD inserted in Nov 2017 but i just realised today that i am pregnant, my period is late and i feel pregnant, i just dont know what to do as we cant afford another child, i am extremely annoyed that the IUD did not work - i just dont know what to do

Hey I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time. When you know, you know. But the best thing to do is take a test for sure. I've heard of the IUD failing for a few people, one I know personally.

You have to make the decision that best suits you. Nobody here knows what it's like to be in your exact situation except you. Maybe talk to OH about it and see what he thinks too. But the forum is always here for great support hun. Good luck xx

i will speak to OH tonight - just v annoyed that i went to trouble of getting iud just for it to not work
