Pregnancy symptoms

Hi everyone!

I'm currently 8w 1d pregnant but I've not really had ant symptoms along the way. I get headaches frequently and feel dizzy sometimes and feel nausea but I haven't actually been sick.

It's my first pregnancy so I'm new to all of this but is it normal to have minimal symptoms and everything be ok?

I think it’s quite normal to feel sick and not actually be sick. Ever person is different so try not to worry. X

Hi laura with my DS and DD i didnt have any symptoms apart frim heartburn when i was around 8 months. In now 4+4 and stressing because i havent got any symptoms so keep needing to remind myself not everyone gets them...we should count ourselves amongst the lucky few x

Yeah I've heard people don't always have symptoms I've just always expected to be throwing up to know everything is okay Haha!! But clearly I don't need to

Congratulations on your pregnancy
I'm 24 weeks pregnant with my first and I've had every symptom going, I've been that poorly I think I've worked 3 full weeks if that since finding out I was pregnant and now I won't be back at work till my maternity finishes as been signed off. Some people are very lucky if they don't get any symptoms but if I was you I'd enjoy it while it lasts as they may come and hit you full force, hopefully you don't though Hun and you have a lovely smooth pregnancy xx

Hi in my first trimester I had no symptoms until around 7-8 weeks. Even then just experienced occasional mild nausea in the mornings but if I ate as soon as I got up it helped prevent that sicky feeling. I wasnt even overly tired. There were a couple of times I remember going to bed at like 7pm and sleeping full 12 hours lol but for the most part I didnt have many symptoms.

Now over 33 weeks and have had a great, healthy pregnancy with few symptoms. First pregnancy also.

Firstly congrats x and rest assured, I freaked out for the same reason about where you are. Apparently you are just one of the blessed few hun. Enjoy, the headaches are bad enough! Just be aware that the symptoms can come on suddenly so try not to panic for the opposite reason if they do x

my first pregnancy i didnt have any symptoms . my second i had a horrendous time the entire time! every pregnancy is different ......

I had no symptoms at all either. I was sick once and that was it! Not planning on having another so I'm glad I had an easy ride! Lol xx

I had no symptoms for the entirety of my first pregnancy apart from a bad back near the end. My sister who was pregnant at the same time had just about everything going.

I am sure they just tell women that "nausea is a good sign" to make them feel better... because it is really lousy.

Try not to stress about it. If you are really worried I would advise getting an early private scan after 8 weeks. It really will make it feel 'real'

Hi Lauren,

I am currently 13+5 and the only symptoms I experienced was increased appetite and the need to nap sometimes ... I am learning that every pregnancy can be completely different!

I was slightly worried also but having had our scan we have been told that everything is progressing well and we have a right little wriggle bum so it does not necessarily mean there is anything to worry about

Through both of my pregnancies I had barely any symptoms, from the sounds of it you might need to get some more iron in to you, that or need to have snacks around at all times (tut) haha! Xx

Yes, it is quite normal. Everybody's body is different though. Some women get really sick sometimes at this stage.

Hello, yes this is completely normal. Be grateful while this lasts as some women have it extremely hard in their first trimester and it doesn't have to stay this way forever.
