Hey

I was wondering if anyone shared the same thoughts as me (possibly with a different sports too)? I am a cycling fanatic, I cycle every day, it's my main mode of transport, it's how I keep fit and stay in shape, it's how me and OH spend time together and we have a large group of cycling friends.
OH and I have decided to try for a baby in August, but the only thing that puts doubt in my mind is how much it it going to affected my cycling. Will I be overcome with pregnancy joy and not care about my bike? I doubt it.
I'm also worried about the early stages of pregnancy when we are not telling people, how do I keep it a secret? I spoke to my Dr and she said its fine to keep cycling but to keep my heart rate low as I'm cycling to maintain my fitness not to get fitter. But I train mainly with men, so generally we ride out is very hard work but everyone is used to that. If I was pregnant, working that hard could be dangerous to my baby. Just seems so hard to be able to strike a balance. :wall2:
Also like most women, I'm body conscious! Everyone is different and I'm worried about how my body will look after I've had the baby?!
Is this normal to think like this, or am I being completely mad? Has anyone else came up against a similar issue in a previous pregnancy? How did you deal with it?
Otherwise I cannot wait to be pregnant!
Sorry a bit long winded!

Kirsty
