Can you not drink a half pint of milk a day extra? Or take a calcium supplemt a few times a week (though eating/drinking it in food/milk is better to absorb)

In 2nd tri I started increasing my milk intake by a half pint a day so as to help with my bones as LO grows and drains my body of everything  I don't want mine to get too weak and suffer because of it.

FWIW I've not taken any vitamin supplement and so far seem to be doing fine. Just eating those sometimes boring foods to get it all.

That seems a bit strange :?

Maybe she got confused with something else :?

Thanks Everyone, I have tried to drink milk but cant stomach it. I dont have any at all so no i need something!!

speaking of calcium does anyone know which is the best calcium supplement to buy as i'm struggling to get all i need just through diet alone. i can't find calcium on its own its always with vitamin D etc

i started taking the osteocare for a while but wasn't sure if these were ok and they are really difficult to swallow

Holland and Barrett have a listing for a few. One on its own also.

Just read the small print on the bottles to see if there are any reasons to not take when PG.

Also your GP might be able to prescribe calcium chew tablets for you. And free as PG. Worth asking :)
