Hi all,

So about about 10 days before AF was due, I began taking Pregnacare Original to ensure I was getting all the right vitamins, e.t.c. when TTC.
However it made my AF was 4 days late! My cycles are always 35/36 long, which whilst I know is normal enough, I don't want them to be any longer!! I am already trying to start tracking ovulation and I am concerned that taking Pregnacare may somehow also delay this?
I have read others online saying the same thing......
should I stop of as someone else suggested, halving the pills?
Or just take folic acid and Vit B12?
The long cycle, wait until ovulation and then 2WW is already quite frustrating without making it all longer!

Any advice? Thanks

Do you mean the Pregnacare trying to conceive tablets or the Pregnacare original tablets as they are meant for when you are pregnant. I just took Folic acid with VitD whilst ttc.

It's pregnacare original, it says its also good for those TTC but I am thinking now I should have got the Pregnacare conception! I feel silly now!

I don't want my body messed up so I think I will put them on hold and just take the folic acid.

Pregnacare conception make your cycles ultra long, it did with me but the original I didn't have any problems with. It was me who suggested halving the tablets. You could try seven seas trying for a baby, they only have, b6, zinc, iron, b12 and folic acid in.

If you look up reviews of pregnacare conception on Amazon you'll see it lengthened lots of women's cycles. x

Ok I am definitely reluctant to take pregnacare conception now!
I might just half the tablets then and see what that does this month, although obviously hoping for no AF if conception happens lol.

I have been taking pregnacare conception since January and found that it made my cycles shorter. Made my cycle 23-24 days. I have the original ones to take in 10days.

Made my ovulation and af late. Stopped taking and I started taking tesco own which I found great. X

I took pregnacare conception for nearly two years while we were TTC and my cycles didn't change at all.

They (like everything) probably suit some but not others.
