Praying for late ovulation!!

After taking a weeks course or antibiotics to clear up my bacterial vaginosis the goods news is they worked and I am clear of the BV... the bad news ..... is that I got a common side effect from taking the antibiotics... Thrush!!

The timing could not be any worse, as there is a possibility this week is ovulation week... so now all I can do is hope that I ovulate late this month and dont miss it... my plan to not use OPK's this month are out the window as I have to take them this week to see if I miss it... arghhhh it seems to be one bloody thing after another with me at the moment!!

Sorry for the rant girls......

does anyone know how long you should wait after treating thrush before you can have sex... I think it is a week ?

Blimey! Sounds like your going through it at the mo Vicky!

According to my dates i'm due to OV this weekend so hopefully you won't miss your OV and we'll go through the 2ww together!

I've been so busy this last couple of weeks I haven't had time to think about TTC! We have BD'd loads though and will also BD lots this week!

Fingers crossed for us both this month!

Thanks Claire, it does take the stuffing out of you this TTC milarky..... I had a 41 day cycle last month so if I was to follow suit with that then it means that ovulation wont occur this week which is what I am hoping for.

Why cant these things eve be simple.....

Still the end result will all be worth it... good luck this month Claire hope we both get our BFP's together... we would be in the same antenatal classes if that happened.... how cool would that be

I am ok thanks hun, having a few problems (as above) but doing ok otherwise, hoping to get a BFP soon... every where I look I see pregnant women .... and at work they keep playing some stupid Harley Street Fertility advert on the radio... I cant escape lol

Apparently you are supposed to take the whole month off if you are treating thrush, but can't you maybe just not treat the thrush until after this week?

Thrush isn't known to have a direct impact on ttc, it just implies other conditions that might effect ttc if it is reacurring.

I hope you figure it out

Vicky my last cycle was 41 days too! Spooky! lol

Oh yeah I forget we're near eachother, we could actually see eachother in person at Darent Valley one day!!

I have no clue at all when it comes to testing dates, AF dates... I am all over the place at the moment, just taking each week as it comes, finished AF last week so will try and work something out from that if I can.

Louise - problem with not treating thrush is that men can catch it and its worse for them, i think it is only a week you have to abstain from sex for fingers crossed!!
