Sorry I know this has probably been asked hundreds of times before but which prams or travel systems would you recommend. We have been looking round for a while now, and each time we decide on something one of our friends comes up with a reason not to buy that particular one so I just wanted to know if any of you have already bought your's yet and what do you think of it.

I need something really light as I have instability in both shoulders so they dislocate all the time with the slightest movements (god knows how I am going to pick up the baby when he/she arrives..!) This also means it will have to be easy to fold up too and manouver.

Any ideas ladies????

Cheers,
Karen x

I need something really light that can fold up easily too as we don't have a car so I need to take buses. I have done HEAPS of reading and asked lots of friends and ultimately decided on the Bugaboo Bee.

I live up 6 flights of stairs so something light was important. I've chosen the icandy Cherry as it's the lightest one I could find that fits all my other needs. It doesn't come with a car seat, but you can buy car seat adaptors and fit one to the pushchair if you like.

Ive decided on the Quinny Buzz 4 travel system but I made my decision based on the advice given my the girl at the pram centre. I should probably do some more reading on it

I've bought the Silver Cross 3D pram system. It's really easy to fold away and isn't too huge. It's not what i orginally wanted as i had my eye on an off road type but when it came down to it i couldn't manage the weight or bulk of many of the systems (i am small and a wimp and have a bad back). It also faces outwards when in pushchair mode but tbh the fact that i can pick it up outweighed the cons for me! Also, it was on offer in Mothercare so was a lot cheaper than many i looked at. I figure that in a years time i'll probably end up with a lightweight little buggy so didn't want to spend a fortune on the travel system.

Good luck in your pram shopping.

I've brought the out n about nipabout, I love it, it's so light. I was looking at the icandy cherry too but the only reason I went with the nipabout was because of the off road wheels for doggy walking.

It's best to find a good shop with loads of choice so you can play. Oh and a nice helpful assistant.

happy shopping x

I'm in love with the icandy apple special edition. But i'll probably end up with the Silver Cross 3D which was my first choice before i discovered icandy lol.
I'm looking forward to going pram hunting and playing with them all xx

is this the 3 wheeled one with suspension in the front wheel?
if so be carefull hun as i had one with Thomas and after a while it developed a shudder in the front wheel that couldnt be fixed. its a fault with them.
but saying that it is a lovely pram i loved it i kept it untill Thomas grew out the carrycot and sold it on
xx

Been shopping tonight to mamas and papas   - that place breaks my heart theres so many nice things in it,

anyhow, picked our pram combination

http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product- ... 00/type-i/

It is expensive but it comes with a lot and OH said if i want it then thats ok :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

He must have had a hit on the head at work or something - :rotfl: :rotfl: , i didn't question it though !

Iv bought the Mamas and papas pliko switch 3in1.
Its so easy to fold up and it folds with the seat on as well.
Very light and easy to push, and the baby can either look at you or face foward :)
Gets my vote :D

Im gategrashing!!!

But I had so much trouble when picking my travel system

I decided on the quinny Buzz 4 because i like 4 wheelers and I bougth this with the car seat and carry cot etc in plain black with me staying team green!!

Someone told me they get commission for certain sales so just be careful that it suits your needs not their books so to speak x

I got a Bugaboo Bee, it's light and folds away nicely plus there is not much out there for tall people to push comfortably and the handle adjusts for every height! :cheer:

Ive just bought the maxi cosi streety, it can face both way, comes with footmuff, raincover, carseat, folds small and only weighs 8.7kg. I also ordered the carrycot, which clips into the bas, I should take delivery of it tomorrow so I will feed back on my opinions x

Yea I have hun and we both loved it. We decided on the Buzz 4 in 'storm' too which is the black/grey. OH thought that the 4 seemed abit sturdier than the 3.

We have for the Mamas & Papas Pramette, it seems quite light and easy to fold away.

But when I had my last baby I think she was 6 months old and I bought a buggy as I got so fed up of lugging a big pushchair around with me. We got the Mama's & Papas Ziko which is suitable from birth and it is fab.

I'm pretty sure we are going to op for the Cosatto Cabi 3 In 1.
It looks so cute, comes as a pram mode, car seat and forward/rear facing seat unit and Cosatto gives a 4 year guarantee!
:cheer:

I'm getting the Quinny Buzz 3 travel system in storm too! I've always known that was the pram/pushchair I would get, I just think they look lovely when you see someone pushing one. :D
