Prams/ Travel systems help!?

There are so many prams!!!! I have my eye on an iCandy as its my boyfriends parents who are treating us. But I also really liked the quinny ones! There is a few to chose from and have some great colours and were lovley to push.... Think you should have a lovley day out and go have a test drive of a few, see what you want out of it. Like travel system etc... And also make sure its easy to fold up and down and fits in the back of your car!!!xxx

im going for the Hauck. £149 travel system including muff, shopper tray and car seat. half price at babies r us and looks funky too!

I have just looked at this! LOOKS fab!!! Have you had a push of it? I am only small at 5ft so want something that aint gonna make me look daft when pushing,. need something light and easy to manouver i guess.

I love the iCandy Cherry and have decided after looking at others that I will be getting this one. It's very lightweight and is a stylish little pram although it is a bit on the expensive side. x

I found this on eBay all for 298 im so torn lol

they have it on tinned of different colours I know this one isn't Everyones cup of tea x

Anyone thinking of going for the hauck condor... don't do it lol It's freaking AWFUL! It's heavy and bulky and the car seat was impossible to get on the frame, and that was without baby in!! I'd never have stood a chance with baby in it, esp after having a section. It was shoddy! Mind, I did buy it back in 2009 so it might have been updated by now!

For a cheap travel system I would highly recommend the mothercare trenton deluxe. It is bulky but it's lightweight and easy to put the pram and car seat on

Edit - bought it in 2010!! Must remember when son was born lol

Any thoughts? I initially thought for my first born I will get a new pram and cot at least with the idea of using them again but what I want will cost ££££ so trying to cut costs by looking on ebay for prams that a few months old. Is it better to get new and have the warranty?

Also, any reviews from mums that have used the silver cross surf? Was loved up on the bugaboo but the reviews are SO bad where ever I look and the price is just

i would shop about .. go into shops & ask for demonstrations on all the prams you like! i thought i wanted the silvercross pram but when i actually went & saw it i totally changed my mind :eh:

i have ordered the oyster pram & i loveee it as you can get it in different colour packages & i tend to get bored easily  xx

I had two silvercross prams the linear freeway and the 3d lookig back I think I should have paid the extra to get a bugaboo as they are much more lightweight and have a good resale value!!!

I've now ordered the bugaboo donkey as its the pram that will most suit out lifestyle
With two kids and I'm selling my silver cross prams. I will keep the stroller though just incase we take h on his own anywhere.

I plan on getting the mamas and papas sola (or the zoom) I cant find another pram that I like. I've had it picked for ages.

I need a double so after looking for ever i have settled on the hauck duett tandem which is £260 for the pram with the two Seats then another £80 for the car seat that goes with it x plus the top seat turns into a carrycot and it converts back into a single buggy after my older son can walk x

25 weeks pregnant. Team yellow too hope to find out peanuts sex on 26th march x

I also had a mamas and papas rubix whixh was great an great value for money!!!! I had problems with doubles as ideally I'd like them side by side as h is so nosey I can imagine this one would be the same!!! Hence the pricey donkey purchase!!! I have a car seat but won't use it on the pram anyway!

For me, as I don't drive we've ordered a Silvercross Linear Sleepover Pram & Pushchair in Ebony with a chrome chassis. As we don't need to lift in and out of the car, and don't really need to worry about space - it just seemed the best option.

We're quite lucky as there's a pram shop in the town near us - been there for years! - so we got to go have a look and a push.

That really didn't help...

Good luck though.
